Ant

Ants are insects that come from a family eusosial Formisidae, and ants are included in the order Himenoptera. Ants are divided into more than 12,000 groups, with a large number of comparisons in the tropics.

Known for its colony of ants and their nests are regular, sometimes consisting of thousands of ants per colony. Types of ants are divided into worker ants, ant males, and the queen ant. One colony can be mastered and put on a large area to support their activities. Colonies of ants are sometimes called super organism because their colonies are forming a union.

Although his size is relatively small, the ants are the second strongest animals in the world. The males are able to sustain heavy load of fifty times its own weight, can be compared with the elephant that is only able to sustain heavy load with twice the weight of its own. The first position is the Rhinoceros Beetle with the ability to handle the weight with a weight of 850 times its own weight.

Ant body consists of three parts, namely the head, mesosoma (chest), and metasoma (abdomen). Ant morphology is quite clear compared to other insects that also has an antenna.

Ant's body, like other insects have external skeleton that provides protection and also as a place of attachment of the muscle, in contrast to the human skeleton and vertebrates.

Insects have no lungs, but they have breathing holes called spiracles, in the chest to circulate the air in their respiratory system. Insects also do not have a closed circulatory system. Instead, they have a long and thin shaped channel along the top of her so-called "aortic backs" whose function is similar to the heart.

Nervous system of ants consists of a sort of ventral nerve muscle located along the body, with some fruit ganglion and branches associated with each part of her body.
