Wolf

Wolf is an animal to be feared because it is included in the class of wild animal. wolves included in the family Canidae is known as a predator. There are two species of wolves namely, Brown Wolf (Canis Lupus), and Red Wolf (Canis Rufus). He preys on deer, moose, bison and other large Herbivores.

Wolf can be found in North America, Mexico, Middle East, to Asia such as China and India. Wolves live in the mountains, grassland, desert, tundra, and forests.



Wolves have hunted on a large scale in America. The hunt aims to control the number of wolves or just to take his fur. Consequently, this animal is nearly extinct. Adult wolves weigh 34 to 54 kg, with a body length below the tail 1.5 to 2 m. Wolf fur color varies from pure white to dark red, depending on the habitat of wolves live.

To hunt large prey, wolves do it in groups. One group consisted of 2-8 wolves tails. The wolf will attack their prey from all directions. Once the prey is helpless, the wolf will eat them soon abuzz. Territory of the Wolves are very varied, ranging from 130 to 13 000 square kilometers. Turf is usually characterized by the smell of urine group leader.

Wolves communicate by howling. This is done to make each member of the group is not split. Howling of wolves could be heard up to a distance. Howl is also done to demonstrate the power of a group of wolves. They could hear other wolves howling from a distance of at least 3 to 4 miles. Their sense of smell is 100 times sharper than humans.
